Experiment 5 - Helmholtz coil

Objective of the experiment: To study the uniform magnetic field produced by a Helmholtz coil configuration.

Theory: A Helmholtz coil consists of two identical circular coils separated by a distance equal to their radius. When current flows through both coils in the same direction, a nearly uniform magnetic field is produced in the region between the coils. This uniform field is useful for various experiments and measurements.

Procedure:

1. Set up two identical coils separated by a distance equal to their radius.
