A magnet is an object that can attract objects made of iron, nickel, or cobalt. Magnets always have poles: North pole (N) and South pole (S).
A magnetic field is the region around a magnet where magnetic force acts. We cannot see a magnetic field with the naked eye, but we can observe its effects.
The magnetic field direction is from North pole (N) to South pole (S) outside the magnet, and from
South pole (S) to North pole (N) inside the magnet.
